We are not a “belt”school, meaning that we do not simply churn out belt tests every one or two months. We take a great deal of pride in teaching Karate in the traditional way. When you have earned your black belt from Ichigeki Karate, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you have achieved a major accomplishment, and you will be able to confidently wear your belt with the knowledge that you have indeed mastered the basics. Our school has established affiliations with major organizations (such as the PKC, PKRA and King Cobra) and other schools that honor the same characteristics as we do. The primary focus of Ichigeki Karate is to learn the Shotokan style. We have also incorporated elements from other styles and systems to enrich and add a well-rounded balance to your martial arts study, which include Goshin Jutsu, Goju Jiu-Jitsu and Judo |
